Here at Boyes Reining Horses we currently have three finished show horses, two older horses in training, one two year old, and an up and coming two year old.
Whizzle For Me
Owner: Phillip K. Boyes
Meet Whizzle, she is an 8 year old Remin Whiz out of JJM Sunny Delight. This mare was previously showed by an extremely successful Non-Pro. However, she has come to Boyes Reining Horses to stay! Tanner currently shows her in Rookie Professional and Limited Open classes. As of 2013 this mare has an LTE of $26,423.
Future plans for Whizzle include a breeding to Spook's Got a Gun, and lots more showing!

Spookie's Got Her Gun

This is Spook and aside from her wild blue eye she has all the markings of her sire. She is a 3 year old mare sired by Spook's Got a Gun and out of Ellys Rebel Pride. Tanner has trained this mare from the ground up, and she has become an extremely hard working horse. Spook will be shown at the Futurity in Oklahoma City this November, and hopefully will be quite successful in the 2014 Derbys! Tanner enjoys showing this mare as she and him get along very well!

West Coast Valentino

Aside from Tino's high strung personality, and when he is not sticking his nose into trouble, Christina shows this 8 year old gelding in Non-Pro classes. Tino is sired by West Coast Whiz and is out of No Answer Yet, a mare sired by the NRHA Hall of Fame Sire, Topsail Whiz. The two have struggled throughout the years to keep Tino's mind as quiet as possible, but the pair is slowly starting to become a team and excel in their endeavors.

Cadi is a quiet 5 year old mare who loves to go to work. She is currently in training with Tanner to be show ready by next summer! We have high hopes for this mare as she shows us new insights to her natural talent everyday. Cadi is by Playboys Beau Duke and out of Bijou Olena. Through generations Cadi has the blood of 6 Million dollar sire Hollywood Dunnit running though her veins.

T Gallo

This eye catching 5 year old gelding, also known as Smokey T, goes back to Peppy San Badger and Gallo Del Cielo. Smokey T is by MR Gallo Del Cielo and out of Tari Charms.Currently Smokey T is being trained by Tanner for his mother to ride. This horse's sweet disposition allows him and Bonnie to be a perfect match. Eventually Smokey T will begin showing with Bonnie aboard! We can't wait to see what this little gelding is made of!

The dam to Tanner's Mate is Switch To Pepto. Be sure to look for this duo as Tanner shows Yeller in the show season of 2014.

Joey's Smart Switch

Little Joey will be started at the beginning of 2014 as he comes into his two year old year. Joey is a full brother to Tanner's Mate and just like his brother we expect him to be talented! As said above in Tanner's Mate's pedigree Joey sired by Little Lena Mate and out of Switch to Pepto. We are expecting this stud colt to gain more size than his brother by the time he has reached the end of his 2 year old year. This colt's well put together and good conformational body will make him a wonder to watch in the show pen!
